Delete your account & data
App: New Game Plus · Developer: Gee-Hwan Chuang
You can erase your New Game Plus account and everything stored with it yourself, in two taps, without asking anyone. It happens immediately and cannot be undone.
From inside the app
- Open New Game Plus.
- Go to Settings (the gear icon).
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your server-side account is deleted right away.
To remove the local copy as well, delete the app from your device afterwards.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes your anonymous user record, and with it every row tied to it:
- Your save — profile (age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goals), every daily log (water, steps, calories, protein, sleep, weigh-ins, gym check-ins, screen-time results), your food diary, and all game progress: levels, gear, gold, streaks and settings.
- Your profile row — the account record itself.
- Your scan counts — the daily tally used for fair-use limits.
- Your subscription record — the entitlement row recording which plan you were on and when it expires.
There is nothing left behind afterwards: because the account is anonymous, there is no name, email address or password on file to keep. Meal photos and voice clips were never stored in the first place — they are processed for a nutrition estimate and discarded. Nothing is kept in backups beyond our host's routine, time-limited database snapshots, which age out on their own.
What deletion does not do
- It does not cancel a subscription. If you subscribe to New Game Plus Pro, cancel it separately — iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions. See the FAQ.
- It does not erase your purchase history at Apple or Google. They keep their own billing records under their own policies; we have no access to them and cannot delete them.
If you no longer have the app
Email geehwan@gmail.com and we will help.
Please read this part first, though: New Game Plus accounts are anonymous by design. We never collect a name, email address or password, and the only identifier is a random one held on your device. Once the app is gone from that device, we have no way to tell which account was yours — which means an email request cannot reliably identify it. If your data still matters to you, reinstalling is not enough either: a reinstall creates a fresh account rather than reconnecting to the old one.
In practice, an orphaned account holds only game data with nothing personally identifying attached to it. If you want deletion to definitely happen, do it from the app before uninstalling. If you have already uninstalled, email us anyway and we will do what we can with whatever detail you can give us.
